What a cool project

...has Hisstank-member Freedom of Vexar Designs going: he is designing and constructing a modular mega-playset for his Joes (but it has a lot of potential for Star Wars as well).

Check out his website for photos, layouts, decals and further information.

Team Tango - Codename: OPFOR

No training simulation or full mission profile can be as realistic as the real deal. Therefore Team Tango was created, made up of some of the best dirtbag unconventional warriors available, operating separate from the other teams and posing as terrorists.

OPFOR is the leader of this gang of shooters and looters.

Simple repaint

My son wanted to try his hand at painting a Han Solo figure so he took his brushes, some acrylic paint and slapped some new paint on the figure.

When it came to the the finishing touches he needed some help from Dad, but the general idea was his.

Best of the Internet

In the link collection on the right hand side of this Blog, you will find useful links to the ever-popular figure reviews and tutorials on Youtube as well as links to the friendliest, most supportive Star Wars forum out there.

If you want to see really amazing custom figures, vehicles and dioramas, the Imperial Shipyards are the place to visit.

Tutorial: super-articulated Biker Scout

Fellow Shipyarder Spudafett shows how to super-arty an Imperial Biker Scout in part 1 and part 2 of his video tutorial.

You will notice that you will be able to super-articulate almost every 3 3/4" Star Wars action figure this way. Try it, you'll be amazed what is possible.

Tricks of the trade

Lots of great information if you're into custom figures.

Dusty accessorized

The stock figure was nice, but he lacked the gear a soldiers usually carries, so I rigged some gear for him.
